Curt Sheller and Curt Sheller Publications. A small (me, myself and I) independent, by choice, publishing company catering to the needs of musicians, guitar players and ukulele players worldwide. Offering the resources and information needed to develop as a musician. Curt Sheller Publications, created in 1995, has been on the web for over 15 years. I have over 40 years of playing experience and have been involved in private music education for the past 20 years.
Taking advantage of my jazz guitar skills, I began pursuing the potential of the ukulele. Researching the field, I saw very little material organized for the intermediate and advanced player. I have developed an international reputation as a ukulele expert having written over 20 books on the subject of ukulele.

"Just browsing over both books, they look fantastic! I'm a guitarist and uke player for over 25 years and was thinking about writing a ukulele book but you've already written what I think are the best, most comprehensive and thorough books I've ever seen for the instrument. I just might end up buying every book you've written and I'll be giving my highest recommendation for your books to my friends and students. Thank you so much for taking the time to write such great books!" - Peter Rhee

My Take on TAB!
Wikipedia states: "An alternate usage of the word "tab" is common on the internet, where it can also refer to conventional chord symbols (for harmony), or note names (for melody)."
This a departure from what has been traditionally known as TAB. There a lot of sites on the internet, especially ukulele sites popping up that claim to be TAB sites. These are mostly site with the chords and lyrics to songs, with chord diagrams.
For sites listed here I'll stick with the traditional, pre Internet, definition of what TAB is.

After playing the guitar for over 40 years, Craig discovered the ukulele, and has not looked
back. Although he enjoys nearly all styles of music, his true passion is creating chord
melody arrangements and finds the ukulele to be a perfect fit. Craig's ukulele idols
include Herb Ohta-San, Benny Chong, and Lyle Ritz. However, his single greatest
influence is the legendary guitar player and arranger, Howard Heitmeyer. Craig had the
good fortune to begin studying with Howard in 1991 and is still working with him on
ukulele arrangements today. Howard makes a rare appearance on this CD, playing,
“Craig’s Waltz” with his trusty Kono classical guitar.
David Heaukulani is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). He has composed many original songs in Hawaiian slack key tuning, some of which are published in this book. He teaches 'ukulele slack key at the East Hawaii cultural center and builds custom 'ukulele instruments as well. You can visit his craftsmanship at www.ukulele-uncle.com.

Here is a great

Jerry has nice book available for creating chord solos on ukulele titled 50 Easy Uke Chord-Solos
(from Mark's site) The book offers 27 arrangements from around the world written in
standard notation and tablature playable on any ‘ukulele. While the arrangements are in
standard reentrant tuning, many can be played on instruments with low G tuning and Baritones.
Songs are grouped according to level of difficulty, starting with simple arrangements well
within the grasp of dedicated beginners and intermediate players and leading through more
challenging songs featuring unusual chord voicings, inversions up the neck, tricky fingerings
and "all the fun stuff" the author could muster. To aid the student, the companion CD includes
all of the songs taught. Includes chord charts, inversion studies, introductory material on
finger-picking and making the transition from strumming to melodic playing.
I am currently residing in Hollywood, Florida. I started Pacific Rhythms as a solo uke player. Now I'm a freelancer performing with several prominent Polynesian groups in South Florida. I began teaching ukulele to several ukesters and I'm presently putting a club together called Florida Ukulele Network (F.U.N.).
How a Hollywood studio musician became a Hawai'i 'ukulele legend.
Cali has been playing the piano since the ripe old age of six, and according to family legend, began singing as soon as she could talk. As a young adult, she took a slight detour from music, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and later working in an emergency room, while attending nursing school.
It's hard to say whether the ukulele is making a comeback -- if it will ever again be as popular as it was in the 1920s and '30s. Certainly many musicians in a number of different and sometimes unexpected genres such as rock 'n' roll and pop are taking it up. Not only musicians, either. Warren Buffett, the second richest man in the world, plays one. (I wonder what Bill Gates plays: a piccolo?)
